Students attending Horry County Schools may pay a $25 per school year technology fee that can reduce the cost of repairs that are necessary as a result of accidental student damage to SOAR Academy Chromebooks. If a student's technology fee has been paid at the student's base school for the current school year, that fee will be honored at SOAR Academy.
If the technology fee has not been paid for the current school year, parents are allowed to pay the tech fee at SOAR Academy on the day of orientation. We accept cash and debit or credit cards as forms of payment.
Students are responsible for 100% of the repair costs for physical damage they cause if the technology fee is not paid or if the damage is determined to be caused by malicious abuse or neglect. The technology fee does not cover the cost of lost chargers or Chromebooks. You can find detailed information on technology fees at /Page/14831.
Parents are encouraged to pay technology fees and/ or fines online at www.mypaymentsplus.com or at your child's base school office.
